Russian Film Week UK will hold Film Industry Forum

The Russian Film Week in the UK has announced a new event held in London: the Film Industry Forum. It will take place on two dates: 28th and 30th November 2018 within the framework of the festival itself.

The forum will give Russian, British and international filmmakers an opportunity to announce and discuss projects they are developing, pitch co-productions, attract investors and meet with distributors.

RFW has launched a selection process for the projects participating in the pitching sessions, as well as in the work-in-progress competition for Russian filmmakers who wish to find a co-producer in the UK.

All projects with the aim of partnering with international colleagues, especially in the UK, can participate. These have to be feature films aiming at finding a co-producer or projects having a producer on board as well as at least 30% of the budget secured; projects in the development stage with a screenplay in English; projects about to be finished (to participate in the work-in-progress section).

To apply it is essential to submit a project presentation, synopsis of up to 700 symbols, screenplay in English, producers’ filmography and biography. For the work-in-progress projects fragments from the film are required.
