The Russian Film Week is proud to bring an exclusive public talk with an esteemed international filmmaker and actor Danila Kozlovsky. Interactive discussion 'From actor to director, from Russia to Europe' will be hosted by the RFW’s General Producer, Filip Perkon at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The talk will be focused on Danila’s journey of first becoming a successful actor in Russia and then embarking on an acting career abroad, whilst simultaneously pursuing directing, and the associated challenges and decisions that he faced during these transitions.
Danila Kozlovsky is a renowned European and actor, director and producer. He starred in the latest season of MGM's Vikings series, BBC distributed McMafia, as well as critically acclaimed Russian films like Alexey German Jr's "Dovlatov" and Ilya Naishuller's "Hardcore Henry". In 2019 he debuted as a film director with the sports drama "The Coach" and is currently producing a number of films set to launch in the next two years.
Filip Perkon, who will act as the host of the talk, is the Founder and General Producer of the Russian Film Week and the Golden Unicorn Awards. His portfolio consists of more than 50 completed projects. He is also a frequent speaker on event production and startup investing. Filip is part of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers community and a board member of the Russian Community Council in the UK.
